hi, again just wanted to know what you thought ofthis a month after i got my car the power steering kept failing i phoned the dealers west kirby to book it in as i waited i was driving the car and needed to reverse into a space.as i did this the power steering failed again.i turned the steering wheel and carried on reversing.the power steering came on just as i went past the post,causing the car toturn suddenly,breaking the drivers mirror. i phoned the dealer up the next day to explain it had happened again and said what had happened after going to them 3 times the third time they replaced all the power steering,under warranty but where still waiting for the mirror asked how much it would be considering it was not my fault they said

Most definately......make sure you persue this vikki, dont let them get away with it. If the dealer denies telling you it was ok to drive, then I suggest you address a letter of complaint to the MD threatening never to use them again.

Basically, make as much noise as you can, you may be suprised :thumbup:

what ever happened to the customer always being right ??

if they quoted you a price they should have stuck to it.

to give you some incouragement, we ordered a new dlt library at work cause the old ones playing up and its not covered by dell anymore, the replacement was quoted as

just got a email from skoda saying there still investigating as soon as more info arrives they will be in touch with me at least they replied and is now under investigation

Thanks for some info, ref the wing mirror, should be going in on Mon 1 nov to have a new 1 fitted. Ordered from dealer last Monday. Expected around
