Mr and Mrs Walrus are very pleased and proud to announce the arrival of the first pup in the walrus colony.

Isabelle Suzanne Walrus was born on Wednesday morning (armistice day - she is the angel of peace!) at 6.26am.

Weighed in at 5lb 12oz, was two weeks premature due to pre-eclampsia in Mrs Walrus, but happily delivered naturally and safely thanks to the brilliant team of midwives and doctors at Wigan Albert Edward Infirmary. Thanks to you all.

Pup and Mrs Walrus progressing brilliantly and hopefully be at home at some point over the weekend.

A very happy (and tired) Walrus.

No mate , bowed out gracefully , cant go waking babies up , mind you , toasting the new arrival is a must .

Just Dan in the firing line for a full blown pms assault now , and he's scared of simbo already.

Mind you , if Phils mrs reads this and sees the apple of her eye described as a seal pup , he's gonna need to hide

Bit she won't observe the 2 minutes silence though:rofl:

You've got all those sleepness nights and nuclear waste filled nappies to look forward to now:eek:

Congrats!

And well done on a nice, non-stupid name :D

In the age of parents calling their children Pixibelle Munchkin Appleseed Moonsparkle, Isabelle Suzanne is a refreshing change!

Congrats!

We're on the count down ourselves at 36 weeks now.

Well get yourselves ready because Isabelle wasn't due until 24th November but surprised us all by rocking up two weeks early!

Thanks for the well-wishes everybody, hpefully Mrs and MIss Walrus coming home in the next couple of days.

As for the origins of my nickname, it's a closely guarded secret never to be shared unless drunk...

LOL, bags been packed for 3 weeks, and there's only one way there and 20 minutes at posted speeds - so no need to practice either.

So will it be gadgetboy or gadgetgirl ?
