a quick question

Featured Replies

this is generally to the people who own lowered vrs's, but anyone else who knows/may havee some info is welcome to contribute.

basically i have a fabia vrs, have it on coilovers and currently is dropped around 60mm on the standard 16's, it looks ok but the front bumper still looks wayyy to high, ive seen other fabia's where the front looks lower, the problem i have is that at current, the unertray is around 1.5inch of the ground and occasionally scrapes,

what i want to know is how can i gwet te front down more without experiencing problems with the undertray?

cheers liam

Quick answer: take the undertray off? :D

dont really want to do that though mate

undertray off is the only way mate

Could it be the LCR splitter giving the impression of the bumper being lower?

The undertray acts as an early warning system to cracking the sump... :)

That was mt thought- make it look lower without lowering it :).

yeah gonna put a LCR splitter on, but it still will be too high, what sort of room is there after you've taken the undertray off e.g. is the internals close to it or roughly how much room do you have between it and the sump?

Few inches? I'd keep it on mate lol

Take it off and get a lower strut brace this is much better protection for the sump rather than a bit o plastic. And it is lightening your car and helping cool the engine
