Drove one at Alex Lawrie (saloon of course) and it was a lovely drive, and even though it's down on power compared to the R36 was still quite punchy for a big barge.

If I stick with Skoda, it's on my very short list for the next car in 2 years time, but not new

Interestingly the article mentions that the V6 accounts for around 10% sales of the Superb hatch in CZ.

Pluses and minuses says:

+ Powerful reliable traction and "quick" gearbox

+ Reasonable fuel consumption (!!)

+ Above average space in length

- Small internal width

- Limited headroom in the rear with panoramic sunroof

- Difficult pulling away from standstill

- Unwieldy system for folding seats

- No adaptive dampers

wow looks lovely have only just found out about the r36 and added that to the maybe list the skoda looks lovely exhausts male it an m5 or amg lookalike

If only it had the same power output as the Passat R36, just doesent have the same bonkers edge. Doesent half make a good noise though
