I have always wanted an induction roar on my Fab vRS, but unfortunatly have always been told this wont happen... But after long searching, will this actually fit the Fab vRS and would it produce an induction noise and (last one) any disadvantages people can think of?

It looks like it will by the picture, but why not cross check it on the K&N website before you bid for it.

id have thought you would be better off with the green filters closed kit rather than k&n

Ive only one problem... Will fitting this be a nightmare, when it comes to tinkering with car engines i hve absolutly no idea... ICE thats a different story ive helped many with installs

If you look at the sellers web site they list a 57i induction kit for an Ibiza 1.9TDI MY 99 onwards for half the price of the vRS kit, food for thought perhaps, as we all know the underbonnet installations are identical.

I to wonder if they make a nice noise, because the K&N 57i's sound great on other petrol cars I have been in

I had one on my astra 2.2 sri and that sounded awesome, just can't wait to get my car back from garage :(

Isn't there an issue with MAF sensors on the PD failing when K&N's are fitted?

Certainly a lot of stories about it on other VAG sites.
