Don't know about free ones, but My Text Check are only £3.99 + mobile text cost. 83600 and just text the reg.

If the car's worth it, it's worth spending £20 or £25 on an AutoCheck or HPi...

If you pay HPI and they get it wrong then they (or used to) pay your losses.

Yep, correct. Same with AutoCheck (backed by Experian).

I dunno how much the RAC check is but if you're an RAC member you can usually get a discount too.

RAC check == HPI check

And it's cheaper
