There has been a pirate version available for download for a while now.

I'm really looking forward to this but I don't know if I should wait for the PC or X-Box version , or just buy a PS2

i wanna wait for the x-box version as it will be better due to the more powerfull system but i also don't wanna wait, might just buy both in the end :o

Must admit when I saw an advert for it on TV with "Welcome to the Jungle" playing in the background I was ready to buy a PS2 then and there

does look pretty spiffing, absolutely massive compared to gta:3 or vice city

i have it just now and its very good, the cities are massive, if you liked vice city you will love this, not realy tried any missions, just been driving through the cities

Isn't it great that it's not lame to play computer games any more? I'm looking forward to GT4.

Theres 3 cities isnt there, with country sides between them? Might see if I can purswaude the manager at Game (a friend of mine) to get me a copy tonight :)

Am very tempted to buy this but I'm on a "buying freeze" until after my birthday. Here's hoping SWMBO has got this for me :D

Chris

Spoke to my mate at Game, there open at Midnight till 2am tonight due to the release of this game then open again at 6am in the morning! They have just had 600 copies come in and due to preorders they now have only 30 left

I have pre-ordered through amazon - won't get the game until 3rd Nov., but save

Where's the cheapest place to get it from? I normally buy stuff play.com (

they say in the game its kinda more like real life and you can get like hair cuts and forms your own gangs and that

Where's the cheapest place to get it from? I normally buy stuff play.com (

I'll get mine from woolies, with discount :D. The new slimline PS2 is out at the same time, so if you X-box-ers cant wait for a lesser version :D, get a slimline PS2 as well as the PS2 version.

The controls of the game are suited to the PS2 controller and fall nicely so thats why i say lesser version :D ... honest

LOL easy David just remember I have an xbox and you are coming down to the meet tonight :D

BTW is GT4 online as I have heard it might not be ?

gta: SA update

got it this morning and been, um 'working' since ;)

it is very good and a lot more realistic than before, i keep just flyin about on a bmx as its quite fun. much less arcade-like than the previous versions and more indepth. a lot of swearing too

hehe i know :) just bringing back the good ol days when i was in school and had countless debates with playstation owners who said it was better than the N64. Xbox has got a pretty decent graphics chipset and you couldnt buy the equivilent PC graphics card for

cheapest place i know of GT4 is amazon

Thing it to run it on a PC you'll need a decent graphics card and memory. At least the PS2 it is designed for it so it (should) work well and you won't have to wait 5 or so months. Massive game, always amazes me that Games shops never get enough copies of such a classic game. As for PS2 and X-Box, both have there merits, I'm consideing buying an X-Box just for the quality of the games, since I got my bonus at work.

hoping theres some stock left in game as I will pop down after work

looks like when you steal the 4x4's you can actually go up into hills/forests now

agricultural vehicles now as well..combine harvester anybody? hehe imagine rolling down a city street in one!

at 6am? So whats the game like then?

Cool - have they added multi player yet?

Yes , there is apparently a hidden 2 player mode.

There were screenshots on the net , but the link I had is now dead.
