experience of Car Quake

Featured Replies

Has anyone used Car Quake...? what was the experience...?ThanksGraham

Sorry but what is "Car Quake" ?

Haven't used them personally, but they don't do anything as such. It's simply a site that dealers pay to advertise on. If you see a price you like, phone that dealer direct and get the ball rolling.

Looks interesting - website says the have a direct Skoda dealer in Thurnscoe near Doncaster?

Edit: must just be a central sales office of some sorts

A manual "Thanks" Simbo for that.

They are very cheap but surely if they can get cut price deals...why can't you just go to local dealer direct and price match off site or better it?

Its VW/Skoda Hayseldens Group Body shop. When I scraped the bumped on my vRS thats where they told me to go

I got a quote through them a few months ago, which my local dealer managed to get within £100 pounds of.The Thurnscoe Car Quake Skoda dealer is actually Cars and Finance.com, a fleet company (like DtD). They contacted me within an hour or two of my carquake quotation, but once my dealer got close to their price I didn't pursue it any further, so don't know whether or not you'll be the first and only name on the V5.Hope this helps!

Had a quote from 'Carquake' for my new VRS which was quite near to the Dtd price. I soon lost interest though when they told me that the car would have 'delivery mileage' and I would be the second keeper on the V5.....I eventually got a local dealer to match the quote and saved approx 3.5k on the list price.
