Need to book Vrs in for 20k service. Got 2 quotes, on for approx 300 :thumbdwn: all inclusive and another for 232 all in!

Why are the prices so vastly different :confused: , does one garage offer a better service (Both skoda garages) or is one just charging alot more for labour.

Both in similar area, Surrey!? :confused:

If I said I got mine done for the same amount less again.....and a cheery mechanic pointing my problems out...would that upset you further??

EDIT: Sorry just noticed it's a Fab!!!! There can't be that much that needs doing at 20k?!? Or they really do stiff you in Surrey!!!

Is the only difference in the 10k and 20k service for the Fabia Vrs the brake fluid change and the pollen filter?

Not if its having a 10k lube rather than an annual service.

20k is a full inspection, 10k is just an oil and filter. Brake fluid isnt required at 20k but is advised every two years, but it cant hurt to change it, especially as they seem quite cheap.

Hmm. Will have to ask then not to change my fluid. Maybe I can be cheeky and ask for reduced labout as they don't need to spend time looking into the brakes side of things

20k service cost 150ish I think for my ibiza.

They have to ask you if you want the fluid changed, its not part of the service so req's your authority anyhow.
