Looking for cars...

Featured Replies

Apart from the usual AutoTrader, eBay and Pistonheads Classifieds, where else would you look for 2nd hand cars?

Exchange & Mart/Loot perhaps?

Keeping an eye out for future contenders and want to make sure I'm watching as many bases as possible :)

Cheers,

Steve

Dealer websites obviously go without saying, or preferrably a XXXXXXXX direct website, if there is one (I know someone who got a far better deal on a used Merc estate going through Mercedes Direct than they could get going through the dealerships)

I also know a person selling a 07 Plate 330i M sport Convertible, Just 8,000 miles with nav, grey with cream leather. It's also just £22,500!!!Crazy hey Steve?

Think you've got the main ones covered Steve. Keep an eye in the local papers too, and the free-ads etc. Give the local main dealer a bell, let them know exactly what you want, and ask them to give you a good pre-prepped price on any suitable part exs etc.

Does actually help if you know what your looking for , owners clubs are good and are , likely to yield a bit of history of the ownership saga .

Might be worth posting a wanted advert on Owners Clubs sites as well browsing their For Sale sections.

There may be someone who is about to part-ex their car because they don't want the hassle of advertising etc
