Hey everyone,

I recently bought a W reg 1.4 Fabia as my first car (Technically second, but that's a different story..)

I was born in the Czech Rep and have a lot of history there so was thrilled to find a good deal on a Skoda

It has 46k on the clock, nothing majority wrong with it - and only cost me £1k.

(They are genuine miles, as it has part history and all adds up)

I have a couple of questions with it; such as what things would need to be changed?

It had an MOT/Service in August and as far as I know it went all fine..

(But it has been sitting in a garage for quite a while)

Apart from the filters/oil/spark plugs.. Is there anything else that could do with being changed? (I know cambelt, but I honestly don't have the money for it at the moment.. I'm running that risk..)

Even if the car's been sitting in a garage since a service and MoT in August, everything should be ok until about next August (barring wearing parts wearing out). I certainly wouldn't spend out on a commissioning service for 3 or 4 months idle.
