Is it possible to fit another type of unit in place of traditional fitted Radio/CD in my Fabia VRS (easily)??

Yes, just need to buy a facia to fill the gap left (the standard one is slightly larger than a standard size radio) but the part is only around £2.50 from a dealer.

Apart from that, you may need a booster for the arieal (~£10) and might need to switch to wires over (radios are designed to allow this to be done easily), so nothing hard needs doing, and it makes a big difference to the quality of the sound.
