Been rolling roaded again

Featured Replies

And got a bit less than Jabba's rollers. But the amount of torque still impressed the tuner (Alan Jeffries of Plymouth) Here are the stats, as put out by their Superchips engine analyser

143.2 BHP + 252.8 Lb/ft max speed 113.8 @ 4760rpm in 4th gear. The pattern of the plots looks identical to jabba's, except its just about 6% or 7% down. I'm not overly bothered about that - the car is still bloody quick and I love it to bits...

Now where's that PD130 lump I can drop in her? ;)

whats the standard power?

Long term the ultimate aim will be an engine swapsy over, but this won't be until the car is quite "tired and worn out" and not worth a great deal. ;) I'm thinking when it passes perhaps 100K something interesting could happen...

Jason...at 100k a diesel will be almost run in.. ;)

Congrats on the results, at least this time the road was rolling and not the car :rofl:

:finger::rofl:

I got the highest torque there that day, although the others were all pretty much chav-machines, with a smattering of quality in some places. I even got 30 lb/ft more than a tasty yellow skyline. :D Although when the rolling road was soaking up the 252bhp it was putting down I thought the damn thing was gonna jump the rollers... It certainly rode up it a little bit! :eek:

whats the standard power?

100bhp, 177lbft
