Who the hell believes everything they read on wikipedia ?

That's like relying on The Sun for reliable news and law reports :o

"The Yeti or Abominable Snowman is a mythological creature and an ape-like cryptid said to inhabit the Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet.

Hi aerofurb,

yep noticed the plate but hadn't twigged, like the lateral thinking. B)

The J was the bit that caught my eye first time round, as I think from dim and distant past threads that's your first initial. Now I understand why it's at the end. :)

See from the SD thread your already getting to know your Monster, imagine all is going very well. :D

Hi Plumber. I like lateral thinking and the 'J' is for Jerry. All going splendidly so far but limited to travelling to and fro work, so play time given the dark and weather is limited. Still seem to be finding more things the Yeti can do on every trip! Now liking the auto rear windscreen wiper. Not sure if the nearside mirror auto dims, the off side one does as well as the interior mirror. Very impressed with the suspension, handling and noise supression.

Hi aerofurb,

had a feeling that the external mirrors must dim like with the Superb II due to there cost as an option on the SE.

Thanks for confirming this as it's not stated in the brochure.

Funny you should mention the rear wiper, not come across this operational function before so had to check the handbook to make sure it was not 'broken'. Did toy with turning it off through Maxidot but as the Monster throws up so much stuff on the rear screen in the rain I left it on.

Best Wishes

TP
