Sorry if this has been discussed before, the search function doesnt want to work for me.

The laquer/varnish/seal on my vrs spoiler is peeling off! I can only describe it like getting air bubbles under stckyback plastic, these are flaking off revealing the duller surface underneath.

Anyone had any experience of this, is it acid rain? a bad batch spoiler? it seems very odd, i cant see it happening anywhere else.

I have the same issue. I got frustrated with it and peeled off all the lacquer in the end! Really need to get it re-sprayed, probably wait till after xmas though! Not sure as to the cause, glad I'm not the only one though!!

Yea, mine has done it all along the inside edge, I am not particularly bothered though. Every time I wash it more peels off.

Only started doing it in the last 6 months though, car is 5 years old.

Not much you can do apart from remove it all and have a respray (I seem to remember you have to do it on the car)

Known issue on some cars. Most likely caused by differential expansion between metal and plastic on hot days.

Mine is fine as I live in Scotland, and we dont get hot days

How old is your Fabia cuz it maybe covered under warranty.

yep, mines the same, is yours silver ?
