MFD3 & paking sensors.

Featured Replies

Just fitted my MFD3 and put the latest fw on it. :D

It all works :whew: except the nav ocasionally gets lost when i start a journey and defaults to Gremany.

I know that I cant get the rear parking sensor graphic to show on the unit but what is annoying me is that the volume doesnt go down when I engage reverse so I cant hear the sensors beeping.

Is there a setting that needs to be changed to do this?

There is something under volume I think to turn down whatever you are listening to while the sensors are beeping.

cheers ill have a look in the morning. mine doesnt get quiet though.

Pretty sure the volume drops in reverse, will try remember to pay attention as I reverse out the drive in the morn! emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif

Interesting - mine never has. maybe it's down to the new sensor unit that enables the graphic to be displayed also...

Does anyone know what sensor is needed to display parking graphics on mdf3 screen? Will this sensor also turn down the volume from the stereo?
