Front Numberplate Holder

Featured Replies

What is behind the front numberplate holder?? has anyone got any pictures with it off?? has anyone colour coded it?? pictures would be great especially in black magic :)

I think its the slam panel sat behind it? Don't think its particularly pretty without it!

Ive looked into this before.

Behind the numberplate surround is plastic, has holes in this so you would have to get this smoothed out

only other suggestion is the get it colour coded

is it only the holes that would need smoothing or is there a indent?? to get it looking like stuart hatchs old fabia is it much work on the front bumper?

im used to smoothing lol my old MGZR was very smooth lol

there is quite a deep indent where the surround is removed plus holes.

it would require quite a bit of work to have it smoothed over

anyone colour coded it and has pictures on black magic vrs??

It's part of the bumper and is all bumpy/full of holes. It's already bumper coloured though. To create the "big mouth" effect, you have to chop away all this plastic to leave the big mouth open. I don't think anyone has done a numberplate relocation, and then tried to smooth off the area. Would create a very big smooth expanse of bumper in the middle of the bumper which I'm not sure is right. Got no pics sadly from when I did mine.
