Noisy low fuel beep

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if it is possible to disable/mute this. When it goes off, I jump out of my skin (leaves a nasty mess on the upholstery)

Yeah... same with the screen wash beep!

Hah yeah the first time i heard that it gave me quite a shock :D

Well if you add the Low External Temp warning, as well you get a symphony of beeps.

:)

Looks like it plays tunes on your headlights, too!

Easy way to silence the fuel warning.

Don't let it drop below 1/4 of a tank.

Easy way to silence the screen wash buzzer...

Fill it up occasionally :)

I'm sure it must be possible. Anyone remember the Triumph TR7 with the hinged headlights recessed in the bonnet? You could get a kit that 'winked' just one of them!

I miss the low fuel beep I found it quite useful. Especially when SWMBO forgot to fill the car up and I was going to work half asleep at 4 in the am.
