Alarm prob on FL still happening

Featured Replies

I'm keeping an eye on mine at the moment; the alarm has gone off at least four times in three months for no apparent reason.

Normally unlock and then lock car again and it doesn't re-occur.

Well, guess what, its happened again :(

In the small hours it went off, that's twice on about 6 weeks since the sensivity was turned down. Hoping they can adjust it further as it seems much much better since the first tweak.

Mine went off again in the middle of the night.

Called in at dealers (Simpsons) and they took it straight in. They said the sensitivity was set to '100' rather than the recommended '70'.

Hopefully this will sort it.

I think perhaps they are set too sensitive, just how much leyway is there in the settings?

At a guess, between 0 and 100, with 100 being the most sensitive.

Mine is on 50 now!

I was still getting random occurances of the alarm going off even though the sensitivity had been turned down (from 100 to 70). In fact it went off when parked in my garage a couple of times.

Took it back to the dealer again, and according to the paperwork they identified a fault and carried out a software update (unfortunately the technician had left so I couldn't find out exactly what they had done). Just need to see how it goes now. Fingers crossed.

The garage reset mine to 80 during a Bolereo upgrade, the next evening it went off! Get it set to 50!!!

Not too sure what the 'software upgrade' was, but it could have been the sensitivity again. It is strange that the alarm was going off when parked in my garage where it is quiet and still and therefore I would not have expected the sensitivity of the ultrasonics to have an impact.

I will wait to see how it goes.

Cheers.
