Hope you enjoy your Fabia Scout, had mine for about 10 weeks now and have enjoyed every minute of it. This has been my first Skoda and so far I am delighted with it. One thing I love in a car is a bit of individuality and so far I have never seen another Fabia Scout , I just love the 1,4TDi engine it is unbelievable how much power you have for such a small engine. All the best for 2010 and once again enjoy your Scout.

Congratulations :)

I think the Scout spec really does a lot to improve the looks of the Fabia Combi and Roomster (hence I bought one!)

I dont usually like the Scout, but yours in white looks really good... very individual.

Looks good, I like the paint job very individual. The missus got the white roof on her 'normal' Fabia because it was a stock car they were selling cheep. We would have never paid the extra for it, but now having it probably would spec it again because of how it stands out from the crowd. Your car is going to stand out even more, and it looks great for it.

Nice wheels dude

good pics looks nice car

the scout does make the estate look better but i wouldn't consider buying one unless £3000 cheaper

what's a radio wand?

Thanks for all the positive comments so far , price wasnt to bad considering you have the vat taken off via skoda and 2 years interest free credit makes it affordable , the radio wand as i call it lol, is situated on the steering column so you can change stations / cd tracks /volume / mute without having to take your hands off the wheel, for £60 odd quid i reckon it was well worth it , scout also came with full size spare wheel which was good instead of space saver or tyre weld rubbish.

Multi-functional module on steering

column for the radio is its official name :o

It looks really good and distinctive in white. A great choice!

I agree it looks really nice. Good purchase!

Another rare car , Ive yet to see one 'in the metal' so to speak , yours is looking good!

Hope SWMBO doesn't this - she'll want one too!

Nice, i like the scout in both fabia and roomster. Chunky wheels fitted on them too.

Looks so nice in that colour, hope you enjoy it as much as you should

I literally just clicked into the Fabia II section to post a thread asking if anyone has got a Fabia Scout because I have never seen one nor have I taken a single enquiry on the car.

Yours looks really nice! Light colours suits the Scout models within the Skoda range very well. Thanks for sharing the photos.

Thanks for all positive comments , only done 100 hundred miles so far because of weather issues and not wanting to stack it !!

i think scout make great sense in estate buying because of price and looks suit the vehicle , must agree that the light colours do look better (in my opinion) i have seen three on the island ,solid blue does nothing for the cars looks and saw a burgundy coloured one which looked alright.

maybe people arent buying them because there not aware of them ,

i spent 3 hours in skoda garage when i was talking to local car salesman and when people came in to ask for relevant car info for buying a new vehicle it was like they had walked in off another planet

" i want a small car with no boot space as i dont need it, but front seat has to be big enough to take my 20 stone husband who hasnt driven for 5 years"

one guy wanted a petrol/diesel estate car with automatic box for less than £7000 !! :p he had just come in from outside where it was peeing down with rain and proceeded to want to sit in my new vehicle to try it out with his sodden wet coat on , salesman let him know it would not be advisable as the new owner of car was standing only 2 yards away.... :giggle:

  • 3 weeks later...

Are the decals on the roof and bonnet standard?

Thanks for that.

That is one very cool looking car, so cool in fact, I am going to order one tomorrow in that very colour!!!

Congratulations :)

Amen to that. Really not a fan of the Fabia II Estate but that looks nice in white.

My only suggestion would be "Needs more Lower" ;)

very nice!!! Thinking I might replace the old Furby combi with a new Scout soon. Then I'll become known as 2-scouts!

Did you go and order one then brookes ? also mpg very good covered 400 miles and average mpg is at 52.2 and we dont even own a motorway over here  i reckon its down to the cruise control as it uses just the right amount of fuel needed , any thoughts.....?

Yes I did!!

White one same as you. It's a factory order so I won' t see it until late March. I got a cracking deal on it as well with the no VAT offer. I had originally considered an Octavia estate and wanted it on a PCP but it was a bit out of my price range. You know you get a quaranteed future value on a PCP, well its turns out that the scout is valued at £5300 sfter 3 years but the more expensive Octavia was £4500!!!! :o

Roll on March B)

Really nice looking car, excellent colour, metallics are so last decade! I think Skoda may see a boost in the number of Scouts leaving the factory as a result of your post.

My 1.4 TDI 3 will be 3 in May and I am looking to change it. Although it is one of the best cars I have owned don't really want to get the same car again. The Scout may be the solution I am after, wonder what it looks like in Red. 1.4 TDI, awesome little engine. Mine has just passed 50k miles and it seems to be getting better.
