Quick question from a newbie!

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I've searched the forum but can't find the answers, I'm hoping someone on here can help!

I take delivery of my new Superb later this month  but as I am based in Germany with the Army I will need to have a lighting check done to prove I have Continental lights fitted. I am aware of the "tourist light" function which should sort out the front Xenons, my question is regarding the rear lights.

What I need to know is if both the left and right rear fog and reverse lights work on the standard UK spec Superb? If not, I will need to order some Conti rear lights and get some cross-over wiring done, as real pain in the arse

Any info is gratefully received!

Rob

Both reverse lights work, but only a single foglight. it is possible via coding using VCDS to enable either both or the other one if required for germany (wiring is present for both sides, might need a bulb for the holder) . For a temporary import though, the single one on the UK side should be fine. Only if you want to register the car in Germany will you have problems with the rear fog.
