Auto Dipping rear view mirror anyone??

Featured Replies

Just a thought, could you get one for the Fabia, since all the electrics are in the mirror itself, it'd just need power to operate it, the problem is getting one, maybe one from an Octavia??

The Polo has a autodipping rear view mirror, maybe that would be a fairly simple swap?

How does it know when to dip? Does it need wiring for a sensor(s)?

The Superb has it, and yes it has a sensor, that needs power, which tells the glass to darken.

There used to be a link to a Golf site that the guy had done this and other mods, detailing who, where and when etc to do it.

Do you like yours, Andy? Does it do what it says on the tin?
