Washer jets

Featured Replies

Is their any way of ajusting them? mine work great but they dont quite get the fluid to just where i need! would be batter if they were more powerful rear 1 especialy!

Also im not sure but rear wiper motor may be on its way out because evry time i put it on it sounds like a darlick lmao! very wierd sound (combine a darlic saying exterminate with the normal noise it makes):thumbup:

Front ones are non-adjustable, strangely.

I bought new washer jets from Skoda (about £4 each inc vat) as I felt they were not working properly.

Seems to do the trick, atleast they spray across the window completely now.

fitting wasn't that hard either, just pop open the bonnet, and man handle the scuttle up just enough to pop out the old jets and connect up the new ones.

Can't help you with the rear one. Maybe the jet itself is blocked up with age?

Sounds like that are semi blocked, try cleaning them out.

take the pipe off and back blow with a airline and that will blow any muck out.

just another point, what browser do you use ? try opera it has a spell check built in !

Is that a robot who has just eaten a heavily-spiced meal in a French restaurant?

Yep, that should exterminate the problem

Don't worry about the spelling - we all make mistakes, said the embarrassed Dalek climbing off a dustbin...
