I am very impressed with your knowledge! Theres not many people who actually know what model of Aston it is, as you said only 101 of those made, so most people have never seen one!

The other car is indeed a 150bhp TR6 (as it says on the rear quarter panel haha), 2.5 litre straight six - they sound gorgeous  Father has just sold it though after owning it for 30 years :(

thanks. I do like my cars they are rare as anything ive only ever seen 2 and that was at an aston martin owners club meet!

Here is my car, washed with Turtlewax shampoo, then dried with Autoglym wet wax. Finally Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection applied.

Loving the shine and stance on that VRS. B) Is that just on Eibach springs as suggested in your sig? Standard shocks? What's the ride quality like?

Cheers - yes its just on Eibach springs with standard shocks. Personally I can't fault the ride, better than standard I think as it doesn't wallow around. Body roll and dive is greatly reduced too  As for wear on the shocks, springs were fitted when the car had done 25k miles, its now done just under 60k - no issues with leaking yet................ DOH! - Ive said it now!! Hope that answers your question.

Cheers! Have you any other pics of the car from different angles since you've fitted the springs?

On my old Ibiza FR Tdi I went with springs without replacing the shocks before I went for coilovers, but even then, I found them much too hard. I would be concerned about doing the same with this! I like my comfort you see. Must be a sign of getting old!! :giggle:

Here's my effort,

Washed using the 2BM then clayed, followed buy 2 coats of autoglym super resin polish and a couple of coats of jeffs acryllic trigger spray to finish it off!

I really like that Gaz :thumbup:B)

These are the only pics I could find of my old vRS after a clay bar session, wash with Megs Gold Class & then a layer of Collinite 476S.
