Snow foam

Two bucket wash with lambswool mitt

50/50 mix of Rain-X Wash and Wax (with Carnauba Wax Beads) and Johnsons Baby Shampoo

Drying with MF cloth and Meguiars Last Touch

Wax removal with Virosol (diluted 2:1)

Wipe down with IPA

Clay with Bilt-Hamber Autoclay and water lubrication

Machine Polish with Kestrel DAS-6

Menzerna Intensive Polish on 3M green pad

Menzerna Final Finish Polish on 3M yellow pad

Poorboys EX-P sealant

Two coats of Dodo Banana Armour

Two Coats of Dodo Orange Crush

yes i spend alot of time cleaning my machines :

for now here is one of my bikes all polished up ready to store away until end of winter! (well till its less slippy)

Products used

Exhaust and chrome bits: Auto sol! and alot of elbow grease!

shampoo: Muck off bike shampoo spray and autoglym bike spay mix, and megs specal bike formular shapoo stuff!

Frame: back to black and shapoo and some special black wax simalar to trim wax.

Wheels and discs: muck off brake cleaner with PTFE and back to black and some trim wax.

Engine: gunk engine degreaser and auto glym engine protectant

Tyres: some tyre protector stuff especialy for bike with a matt finish so you dont slick up your tyres and fall off!

Tank and cowling: Muck off miricle shine carubana wax awsome stuff!! finished off with muc off bike protectant.

Seat: Megs leather cleaner and protector stuff (leather cream)

Dials and glass bits: megs glass cleaner and autoglym glass polish

Trim and ruber: back to black and trim protectant

and thats it put protectant on the whole thing gave it one last ride to the other house up top of clent hill and put it in the garage!

Ill be doing the fabia as soon as so you can take a butchers at that!!

These don't really do it justice, as there's not really anything to reflect in the paintwork (you can kinda see some trees in the bumper and that's it):

Autoglym Super Resin Polish & Extra GlossProtection ...

Same pics as in the exhaust tip thread, but hey, any old excuse to show them again! This was the car about 2 weeks ago. Bought it on 29th December and treated it to loads of de-tarring (if there's such a word) with Autoglym stuff. Then used Megs stage 1 paint cleaner, Megs stage 2 polish, Poorboys sealant and finally coated it off with Poorboys wax!

First pic doesn't do the shine justice as the light was fading rapidly when I took it. The second and third pics were taken a bit earlier in the day so the shine is more apparent.

Car has also been custom remapped and I received a new whiteline rarb in the post yesterday which is waiting in my garage to get fitted this weekend!

very nice , 32v 5.3l V8 bout 350bhp arnt they? they had the pioneering quad cam alloy v8only made 101 of the coupe's and bout 70 of the volant'e with the long wheel base between 96 and 2000. very nice taste in cars if i mite say so. What the other one i cant work it out looks american, mybee a dodge..... :wonder: o no just had a closer look! is that a triumph? TR6? (im guesing the vinal gives it away haha loving the old wheels! Straight 6 wernt they? and im guesing its the Uk version with 150bhp

I am very impressed with your knowledge! Theres not many people who actually know what model of Aston it is, as you said only 101 of those made, so most people have never seen one!

The other car is indeed a 150bhp TR6 (as it says on the rear quarter panel haha), 2.5 litre straight six - they sound gorgeous :yes: Father has just sold it though after owning it for 30 years :(
