Is it bad I like those?

My brother once owned a yellow 3-door Mk 3 Cortina with black vinyl roof (coke bottle shape) and put some louvres on the back of it. In their day they were one of THE mods to have, along with 'cow-catcher' front spoilers. Thank goodness time has moved on ! The louvres used to rattle like fook

Was a bit similar to this, but had standard steel wheels, not alloys

Yes, and grey Wolfrace slot "mags".

Haha! Capris are hilarious.

I've had 2 one of them was a Moonstone 2.0 Laser D-Reg done 53,000 miles with one owner from new!

Was a great car fun car, and oddly fairly comfortable on long journeys.

Taught me an awful lot about car control as I was only 18 when I had them, because they break traction so easily it really does give you an easy way to learn to control a car.

One day I did a test I drove my Capri as fast as I safely could (within the law because it was wet and a NSL) on a set route then I drove an Octavia 1.6FSi along the same route and it was 20% faster with zero dramas. Just shows you how far cars have come in as little as 20 years.

Had one of those for a while - it had 2 engines 3.2ltr altogether :giggle: Unfortunatley the one in the back was for my Mk2 Escort that I didn't have anywhere else to store it. It was in there 3 weeks. It wasn't a good example as I had to run an earth wire to the headlights as there was no metal left in the wings  Still £75 what do you expect.
