Just out of curiosity, what other VAG cars have the PD130 in the VRS?

Always found that curious, Ford using VAG engine, why didn't they use the 2.2tdci??

the mk3 is all Ford but the mk1 was a joint-venture between Ford and VAG...have you never noticed the striking similarity between the 3 vehicles Tom mentioned. not to mention the lack of any TDCI, let alone a 2.2 in 1995
