VAT free and O% extended

Featured Replies

I have just been told by a Skoda dealer that they have confirmed about 10 minutes ago from Skoda HQ that the no VAT and 0% finance is extended until the end of February.

So relax and try to get the best deal.

Useful to know, good info!

That just made my day

bandits - I placed an order yesterday because we thought we were running out of time.

Never mind - the sooner the order, the sooner it should arrive

Good to know that, as I'm just trying to talk someone into taking them up on the offer! Should give them a bit more time now

Steve

A dealer I spoke to this afternoon didn't even know that, nice to have one over the dealer from the off! Although, to his credit he did say he thought it would ultimately go out to the end of March.

I bet they did'nt tell you about the impending prices rises :o

Todays Telegraph is reporting that Skoda are to extend the VAT free offer on the Fabia, Octavia and Roomster until the end of March. In addition, the 0% finance will also continue against selected models, though they don't state which ones.

and according to the blog post

the 0 VAT should also apply to factory fitted extras - which all of the 3 dealers I visited in the week before ordering said was not the case during January, so most of what I thought was a good deal/discount to have negotiated last week would have been reduced anyway if i'd waited ? :dull:

*wonders if the dealers knew already when I orderd*

I thought the no VAT has always applied to factory fitted extras? It did when I ordered back in November.

VAT should be removed from basic car + all factory fitted options.
