Yeti 1.4TSI 2wd

Featured Replies

To my mind, the main benefit of the 2wd 1.4 tsi becoming available is that will combine the opportunity of more power with a relatively affordable price, especially if made available in E and S spec.

Currently there's a big leap in price of £3300 from 1.2 to 1.8 within the same spec range, £1700 of which is for non-optional 4wd. You also have to opt for at least SE trim to access the more powerful engines, a £1400 premium over the rather well specced S

With a bit of luck the 1.4tsi will be priced c.£500 - £700 more than the equivalent 1.2.

hi All,

I just received my freshhh 1.4 tsi Ambition yesterday. It's rather fast but without much thrills when accelerating. It just smoothly reaches its speed :) Of course I'm not pushing it yet due to the "run in". I just love the way it handles and corners. You would never expect this when looking at the beast!

Consumption during last 56 km was ca. 8.4 l/100km. All in the city, some traffic. I love it!

Hi,

I am expecting my Yeti 1.4 in the next 10 days and feel very anxious about it's acceleration.

I made a test drive of course, but only the 1.2tsi engine because they don't have it here for testing. I loved the car, but I am expecting more power from the 1.4 and hope that you can give me some feedback as you have it 3 months now...

Thanks!
