Fabia VRS Remap - Recommendations?

Featured Replies

Evening all,

I am debating getting my 2005 Skoda Fabia VRS remapped. Can anyone recommend me to a reputable company?

I live in Warwickshire but I am willing to travel around the West Midlands area.

Thanks :)

Sorry to hijack the topic, but can anyone recommend a reputable company in Teesside?

Cheers

Greg

MB Motorsport are near you.

They have all our gear and offer our remaps, basically read you file off and send it to our HQ.

Thanks

Hi!

I think I may have spoken to you today on the phone, but just in case, we are based in Wolverhampton, so not too far away.

The P-Torque remap is £265.00 all in, including dyno power runs before and after with logging. Power is increased to approx 170hp and 290 - 300lbs/ft torque. (More is possible but an uprated clutch is recommended)

If you have any other questions, just give us a call on 01902 324584 or e-mail at [email protected]

As Kev says, see Micheal Boak at MB Mortorsport in Hebburn, near Newcastle. The address is on the Jabba's websitre. I know him as he runs a few very quick rallycross cars.

The alternative is Superchips at either Teesside Motor Factors in Middlesbrough (next to the train station) or Motorscope in Northallerton. I think there is a place in Darlington (a VW shop) that does Revo maps (see Revo's website). There is also RS tuning in Leeds and if you fancy a trek, Awesome GTI near Manchester.

I know that Motorscope has a Rolling Road as I've used it, but I don't know about the rest. Awesome and RS has.

W14RRN - P-torque mate. Will mapped mine and would deffo go back again.

Hi

170hp and 320lbs/ft torque is about right with only a clutch upgrade. Its worth fitting a downpipe with de-cat too, as this helps to give a smoother delivery rather than a spikey torque curve.

From P torque I got 177bhp & 305lbft, standard clutch, just from a map :)
