hi all new to forum, have a minor problem with my 2003 octavia vrs estate the boot lights stopped working fuses and bulbs all fine??? but the dash light that indicates doors open does not appear when boot open fine with all other doors is this prob with lights linked? how do i solve this? many thanks paul

Sounds like the boot lock micro switch to me....

Yep. It might be a bit of dirt in the switch, so see if a squirt of WD40 inside the lock mechanism helps. If it doesn't, I think you'll need a new lock, but don't quote me on that...

Hello , my brother has biught kodiak with matrix led lights. One of the problem is that high beam don't light up automatically and there is option to enable it on the menu. I have read somewere that someone had the same problem , but in tme meatime recieved an ota update and the function appeard . I have an obd11 but can't connect the car because of rhe newer protection so I was wondering how I could enable it. Another thing is if it would be possible to enable the inner rear stop lights. First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. Local dealership said it would cost £300 to upgrade my maps and suggested that there are better options them then for this! After lots of online research I decided to update the firmware from H4120 to 5274. I have the zipped file RNS_510_FW_5274_update.iso and have burned this to a DVD at lowest speed. When I put the DVD in the unit (no keys in iginition) it whirs around and then after 20-30 seconds comes back with a CD/DVD error. The unit will play a normal music
