wisebuyers car price guide put a 03/53 at 11040, a 03/03 at 10610 if that helps, but thats not very accurate with miles on the clock. Obviously the new shape is suppose to be knocking a few quid off the 2nd hand old shape, but the dealers still want silly money for them.

The octy vrs is currently holding its value far better than any online price guide would suggest, just look at autotrader for example. My 01 vRS is currently valued at about 7.5k, far more than online guides suggest. Dont forget the new octy vRS isnt due out for sometime yet, if at all and this is helping residuals of the vRS only.

The price of 2nd hand VRS is so high-I had to buy a new one! They are really holding their values- a local dealer wanted 9000 for a 01 with 60K on the clock, but admitted he would take a min of 8000. Crazy prices. I couldnt find a vrs private-dealer or even e-bay for the low prices the price guides suggested, and I spent 7 weeks looking.
