Whats mine worth

Featured Replies

I think car prices are all over the shop at present, as no-one seems to know what to value them at, going from my own experience, as we are looking at getting rid of our vRS, stealer offered bottom book price......why, who knows, as we are the second owner from new, only done 31k miles (6k every year) and is immaculate......seems the stealers want their cake at both ends of the deal.......and a very BIG cake......when I asked what top book was, he said, in essence, ours, but would he hell give it!!!! Turned out he would only offer £4,200.00, but when he is selling another vRS, a year older than ours, less spec'd and with twice the milage at £6,800.00 you can guess what I said to him!!!

dealers know they can get away with it though because its much more convienient to trade a car in than sell it!

Sometimes it is, but not when its gonna lose me £2k.....lol

Sold my last few cars privately, and this one looks to be going the same way - I always try the stealer first, although I never know why.............

It's actually alot easier than people realise to sell a second hand car, you've just got to advertise it for what it's actually worth, not what it's worth to you!

haha i cant help it, haha maybe someone will make me a silly offer lol

I'll offer you a tube of smarties and a half bottle of @nal lube, that silly enough? :giggle:
