Can anyone tell me why the rear footwells on my 05plate fabia 1.4tdi keep getting soaking wet? It would be most appreciated.

Many thanks for this forum on the subject of the rear footwells getting very wet. After looking at the previous comments I ordered some new door panel clips and done the sealant today. When I removed the door panels it was so obvious where the water was coming from and as I had just put sealant around our bath 2 weeks ago I was able to use that and it took me less than 1 hour to do both doors. Many thanks to the person who had already done the job and left photos. these were extremely useful.

On another matter I want to sell this fabia 1.4tdi. I am a drfiving instructor and therefore the car has done 141000 miles. It has a full service history and is not quite 5 years old. Had a new camb elt at 84000 miles and a new clutch at 120000 miles. any ideas????
