Re-map 0-60 times

Featured Replies

Good Afternoon!

I seem to have read loads about the BHP and torque increases from remaps however I've not seen anything on 0-60, 0-100 times etc?

I'm Booked in tomorrow with shark and will be leaving with around 175BHP but not actually thought about the 0-60 improvements and was thinking more of in gear gains.

Roll on tomorrow :p

Alan

I measured mine at 7.1s after my remap, up from 8.2s with a Dragon box. Don't have the wherewithal to measure acceleration at any other speed range, though...

That's a fair jump. I'm gonna have to look outside the remap only box now  Gotta start somewhere

Ive seen standard PD130's run around the 16's standard, mine with a remap ran 14.7... would hit 60mph in under 7 seconds too, and finally onto 100mph in 17seconds maybe?.

my 6.8 second 0-60 in the left lane at york would seem to confirm this, was a 2nd gear launch tho

Um are these sub 7's with standardcars? Full equipment/seats etc?

If so wow, 14.7 quarter mile with just a remap is brilliant, CTR's can barely catch that :-)

5 secs at york. Stripped out, heavily modded. :o:thumbup:

My g-meter has a 1/4 mile function - whether I can find 440yds of straight *ahem* private road, however...

I would expect a totally stock car, but remapped, to have a daily 0-60 of around 7.5 seconds - that's starting in 1st gear and hoping for reasonable traction. :)

Standard no, as would have a remap. IIRC I still had most of my interior in, maybe the spare etc out but nothing too major.

But yeah 14.7 @ 93mph. Reason for the quick time was all in the launch really mate.

5 dead mate? Nice to see someone else running good times!! Elite club ya know ;)

I would agree with this statement 100%

My 7.1s (7.12s to be precise) was as per Jason's "parameters", even down to work stuff in the boot, and veteran pie-eater behind the wheel! :p

Then again, as far as I can tell from my dyno, I get 330lb-ft peak torque, so pray for my clutch! :D

id say about 7 seconds for a remaped vrs
