Thanks again for the opportunity to buy it. Gave it a wash after the fly massacre on the drive back and a treat of some AF Revive on the black plastics to give them a new lease of life.

Looking forward to putting my own stamp on it now!!

That would make you probably the first one with FL model to install Pre-FL headlights to it. I like the idea though. You only would need to buy the headlights and fenders. Then a little modification to the bumper below the lights. Not sure about the wiring on the headlights if you have the cornering function on them. :think:

Because its already an FL, the LED's all work properly etc

 

The wiring could be interesting - whats the plug look like that actually goes into the headlight unit?

Hmm, and the tray the headlights slide into to actually lock them in...

 

No cornering function - bog standard halogen units!

the car not to my taste but taste is personal, its more of an observation really. From that angle and with those wHeels it reminds me of a cavalier GSI.

Love the rims .......always wondered how those classic merc's rims would look on an Octavia.  Spec savers required for some    any car nut ( or wheel whore ) knows no cavalier had dished rims like those.....lol .........must admit the angle of the photo needs adjusting ..a little!
