Is it a good deal Please offer opinions

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm a newbie to the site as I have just become an owner of a mk1 Octy Vrs, picking it up on Sunday and wanted your opinions on if I got an ok deal.

Ok, about the car. Octy mk1 VRS in black, April 03, 3 owners, FSH, good clean condition allround, 2 tiny car park dents, 73k miles, years MOT and tax, had cambelt and waterpump less than 2k ago, totally standard unmolested with OEM chip etc... No rust or paint damage, drives like a new car

Bad points. wheel lacqeur a bit tatty in places so will have refurbed and centre panel of drivers seat a litte grubby

So.... Important bit..... Price £2800 I think looking at various ones for sale this seems good but would like your opinions, i have known this car for 2 years and owner always loved it and is getting an 06 plate (always a good sign)

Thanks very much for any comments you wish to make

Best wishes

Welcome to Briskoda and congratulations on the purchase. Its alway nice if you know some of the history of the car, but how long will it stay unmolested? :D

Ill give it 2-4 month MAX lol

just while he recoups some of the cash he spent buying it lol

I think thats a fair price & you have got a good deal, prices seem to vary quite a bit for the vrs,you have to judge each one on its own merits! :)

Sounds good :)

Good price and judging by all the members on here you are lucky to find one that still has the OEM map on it!!!

IMHO good deal.

You will spend quite a lot on it if you get into mods :-)

good luck
