Well - decided to judge a feeler on this one. Have decided I want to do TRAX this year after missing last year's and therefore will sort out the admin / payment side of things too.

So - who's up for it? If we get enough people who fancy 15 mins on the full GP track @ Silverstone we can probably get a dedicated track session as well! I will be doing 1 session anyway regardless!

Cost and more info to follow but if recent years are anything to go by it's £15 in advance to get in and display and a track session will be £30 unless a dedicated session works out less per car.

Yes - it just means for half an hour or so we go queue up to go on track. and prior to this, also do a briefing session.

i was on the briskoda stand last year with the others we were in the car park behind the pit lane it was quite a gd spot for going out on the track

As I am organising it this year, I will attempt early on, to get Ian to reserve us a spot in the carpark bit overlooking the corner section before the pit straight, like in 2008. That was an awesome place to be as you could park your car and sit inside watching the action.

BUMP! had a mailshot today saying tickets to display were £15 in advance, saving a fiver on normal entrance fee, which confirms what was mentioned in post 1

Cool - What about more immediate events, like at Castle Combe in a month's time.

coombe is a bit too far for me (I know, I know I bet there are those from The Highlands etc) and I reckon th Octy might be a bit too fresh to track (pick up Monday!)

There is display only too. Just trying to beef up numbers.

I would love to go out on the track, but I haven't the ginganggoolies with It being my main drive. Like a woman I may change my mind.

OK - due to the proximity of the Castle Combe action day to this event, I won't be organising a stand at TRAX this year. I will be focussing my efforts on the Castle Combe show on 11th September instead. If anyone wishes to take it on, please let me know and i will pass on details for the people who organise it.
