I have just registered my self with a view to help and to get help from fellow members,

Im currently running a 2005 Octy sport Diesel great car and love the sporty feel she gives. we have currently got a couple of Skoda`s in the family one being a 2.0 Vrs Diesel. Unfortunatley when servicing it Yesterday i came across the dipstick being blown out again,(this as happened 3 times now over the last month. And when the oil cap is removed it appears to be breathing heavily. It as only done 35,000 miles and is serviced every year regardless using Genuine service items.

Does anyone out there know of anything on these engines ? As you can understand it is looking like it coiuld be a piston ring replacement which could lead to a very expensive repair.

P.s it is a 56 plate.
