I'm thinking of Superb - fantastic value for money, the Estate looks much better than the Hatch

I have a 4 year old Audi A4 - and the new A4 is just too expensive

Was also thinking of a Golf SE 1.6 (105)

Any idea what the depreciaition is like on the Superb in comparison to the Golf (its difficult to gauge from whatcar)

I like the diesel engines and would get a 140CR unless you think the 1.4TSI is worth going for

As a rough guide to depreciation, I just purchased a 16 month old 2.0PD TDi DGS Elegance with 12K on the clock for just over 17K from the main dealer.

The 1.4 and 1.8TSi engines are worth considering, especially if your annual mileage doesn't justify a diesel engine.
