Went upto my parents at about 3pm to help my mum by collecting her washing from the dry cleaners. When i got there my mum was just signing for a few parcels for me

They are these:-

Nice!!! B)

Not enough pennies for 3-piece then?

They need to be bolted on 1st , the bricks won`t hold them in place :giggle:

Schweeet! :D

Nice, I was seriously tempted by these for the fellow wheel whores among us:

Not for the Skoda though, for the Golf, but I have a set of wheels already bought and have the reciprocating saw making them better as we speak, so couldnt justify them:D

Drooool...

where did you get those!

I had them custom made by Compomotive! £825 for your £££ Sterling - Finished in Anthracite 5x100 et 35 - 8x17's!!!

3-pieces were £1500 - couldnt afford that at the moment - was tempted by some Image rims, but couldnt decide on a design I liked!

Sweet baby Jesus! They look epic B)

Can't wait to see fitted pic. I knew they'd look bob on - I was tempted to get some 16s made up, but just can't justify the outlay compared with some more normal VAG-based 16" options...

Maybe one day; THs for winter, MO6s for summer

Look nice dude, you could have gone a bit more manly on the offset though maybe ? maybe an et25 and use a 195 tyre for clearance?

Its the daily and I load up quite alot of stuff with roofbox and family gear - so kept the offset quite arch friendly!

I should get the car back on the road by next Monday! Need road tax too!

They are going to look sweet!!

Very nice

Oooooooh B)

Get them on mate, they'll look sick B)B)

Noticed from your sig your running a Bilstein suspension kit - which kit is it and how's the ride and handling with it?

Got to be honest not keen on them think they look like van/lorry wheels......... sorry!

Nice, very nice ! when will you have them fitted?

Have to say, I'm not keen on them .....but each to their own and all that.

The ride is stiffer than std, but not too hard - I drove to Germany and back without any problems, still absorb bumps easily. But has a very coilover-like bounce from the front end if its an uneven surface! :(

The car is in the garage - hope to get it back on Monday!

Very nice bud!

Cheers, I was thinking of coils but that looks like the drop I want without the issues you can get with coilovers (noise, rock hard ride, fillings falling out).

Get some nice pics up when you get chance B)

dude they will look ace on coilies but the ride will be harsh just do it i would lol

Time for an update on the VRS!

Finally got round to getting all the parts together & get some work done to transform the sloppy suspension and the dire brakes!

First of all new brakes fitted, 312 Audi TT discs and pads:-

Also fitted new console bushes, replaced the ARB bushes and the front wishbone bushes with a nice set from the guys at Jabbasport - Oh and also trial fitted the new rims. It was pretty close with the Strut, but i've seen closer. No spacers required - did my sums right after all!

Finally collected with tyres swopped over onto the new wheels:-

The drive home was quite cool - the brakes are amazing considering how good I thought the old brakes were!

Took a few pics, but the light was fading, so I'll get the car washed and polished and get some better pics in a couple of days. But if you cant wait until then - here are a few! :)
