Octy RS question

Featured Replies

This may have been asked before, but i can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone have a clue what the little LED thingy under the 0mph number on the Octy RS speedometer is? Is it a rev limiter light/shift light aka impreza STI.

I know it's a dumb question but i'm intrigued..

Cheers

Si

My 4X4 doesn't have one. :(

It's just a hole in the silver ring with the black plastic on show behind it.

This particular LED can only be activated by dealers. When their diagnostic equipment is hooked up to the car it glows green to show a 'pure' Skoda and they happily work on the car and fix all those niggly little warranty problems. If it glows red it shows up a modded Skoda, they void your warranty, spill milk on your carpets and sell your address and phone number to various double glazing companies.

Obviously no one one modify a 4x4 estate hence no LED.

PS. I notice Dynamic Blue has been carried over to the new Octavia model range. All those letters, phone calls and e.mails weren't in vain after all Denis.
