Hi Everyone, Im new to Briskoda.net. From Gt Yarmouth in Norfolk, UK. I am currently driving a Fiat Multipla although I have a massive soft spot for all things Skoda. I have owned two Skodas as previous motors, a 1992 Skoda Favorit 1.3 and also a 95 Skoda Felicia GLXi. I am currently looking to but a Skoda Octavia Diesel and would very much appreciate your help and comments. I am looking at a diesel for dfinite and have heard that the SDI is a venerable old workhosre?. Let me know what you think and I look foward to speaking to you all very soon! Black Shuck. I even have a soft spot for the Agricultural part of the Skoda network namely Zetor Tractors as thery were manufactured by Skoda too!!

Hi all, recently bought a 2016 Fabia 1.2tsi with 1 key and it's the push button start, had 2 mobile locksmiths out and both have the same problem, they can cut and programme the keys so it locks and unlocks and will start the car but the new key they cut will only start the car if held right up to the button and then you get the dreaded "key not found" warning and noise,the original key works fine so I can't see that it's a car fault and I can put up with holding the spare key up to the switch a

Hello, can anyone help! I have a kamiq and at 55,000 my car suddenly failed, teva burning smell and no power. Was told it needed a clutch replacement and brakes replacement. £2,500. I questioned this as I’ve been driving for 34 years and never burnt out a clutch. I was forced to pay. I had raised questions about the car having a fault. Was told it was driver error. Fast forward 8 weeks and my clutch failed again - the same burning smell. Garage are unbelievably wanting £1,500 to replace again!!

I have a 2014 diesel octavia estate 1.6 blk edition. Lately, and since service my mpg is alot lower than normal. I understand my car is old but recently ive noticed im using more fuel. Ive asked my usual mechanic and hes replied with the expected answer i thought hed suggest which is weather, tyres, speed, fuel prices and that mpg is never ro be trusted. Im not taking fuel prices into consideration as im seeing my fuel being used up more. Mpg today has been 34,on a route i normally use and get
