Hi Guys!

I'm Simon, 24 and work in sales (Boooo!!!) but my ambition is to become a paramedic. I have just bough a Fabia 1 Classic 1.9 Diesel SDI (2001) with just under 50K on the clock. Full skoda service history and cost me £2K so pretty pleased with the purchase!

I've never done much work on my cars in the past apart from topping up the water and oil and the very occasional tyre and bulb change so I'm going to start trying to do some more work myself, so I thought that I'd join this forum as everyone seems very knowledgeable.

My first question for this site is this: The only issue with my car that I've found so far is that the front passenger side electric window is very slow to come down and sometimes sticks. The previous owner to be fair highlighted this to me, and put it down to under use. I wondered if this could be fixed by simply using the window regularly until it becomes free moving, or will this require some additional work?

Look forward to getting to know you all.

Simon
