The Fabia VRS I am thinking about buying is AE54 KBJ.

It is currently in a Vauxhall Garage in Ely, I have put a deposit on it but just wondered if anyone knew the car at all and could give me any information on it?

If you have a look at the service book, it will tell you who serviced it. You can then phone them and ask them if they remember anything unusual about the car. If it's in Ely, it may well have been done by Locks, Wings or Robinsons, who are all excellent in my experience. If it was looked after by Chequered Flag or either of the two branches of Vindis Skoda, then run away! The number one thing is to make 100% sure it's had the cambelt done either at 60,000 miles or at 4 years, whichever came first.
