What wax / polish would members reccomend for my Black Magic Furby? I have used various products in past on other cars but would like to hear from folks with the black magic paintwork to see what they use.

Dark metallic blue Superb, and its gets the Swissol treatment. Yes the initial outlay is expensive, but its quality, last for ages, gives a deep shine and doesnt leave swirl marks.

I have tried several but what I am using at present is:-

Zymol Car wash

Meguiars NXT tech wax - It comes with a sponge applicator and is quick to apply - you can also do the whole car before you have polish it off. I did find that with some other polishes that it was difficult not to leave a series of streaks.

Try Wax Wizzards products IMO as good as Swissol but better priced

Zymol Titanium Wax

If that little lot doesn't make your black car the shiniest on the block, I'll eat my hat*

*not a real hat, but you get what I mean

I use plain water to wash the car (warm at the moment!!)

There are ways to get it done without paying the extortionate dealer price though, try E-bay for cheap kits.

Agreed. Diamondbrite can be picked up for

Diamondbrite Jewelultra stage 1 and 2 polish and interior teflon spray....makes washing the car easy peasy lemon squeezy
