I noticed while parking earlier that the steering wheel in my Octavia doesnt seem to be true. Watching the top of the wheel as it is turned from lock to lock, the "top" when the wheel is upside down seems 3-5mm lower that when in the straight ahead position.

I have measured the rim carefully and found that it is perfectly circular, it is almost as if the moulding is slightly out.

Is this "normal"

The Fabia one is exactly the same, the steering wheel is off centre.

Thats good - I was slightly worried that mine had a problem.
