Furby Vrs door/window rattle

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Two moderately minor gripes!! Has any one experience of any of them?

Drivers door window, whilst on the way down suddenly goes back up! Did this 3 times now acts normally but has since developed a rattle?

Brakes--horrible noise whilst reversing ?

Oh yes,I lied there is a third minor crinkle--the parcel shelf has developed a

resonating rattle.

Any help will be most welcome prior to returning it to our (yet untested )

local dealer

(Poor old girl has only done 7000 miles, far too early to question build quality

I hope!!)

Oh yes' date='I lied there is a third minor crinkle--the parcel shelf has developed a

For the parcel shelf noises fold down the rear seats and check the small round rubber bungs that are behind them - these can rattle if bungs are not adjusted OK. Sorted mine with help from dealer's mechanic and a pair of pliers - it's a bit trial and error!

Also check the clips holding the boot lining under the plastic housing for the rear speakers - the bit you have to remove to get at the rear light clusters (you'll see what I mean when you look). Check the stops on the back of the parcel shelf aren't too tight on the boot lid. Finally make sure the 'ball' that hangs down from the parcel shelf 'string' (which pulls it up when boot is open) is not hitting anything in the boot...

HTH, my dealer is OK with sorting these things out.

I've got a minor rattle from my passenger-side front door.
