Hi All

I'm new to the site and new to being a Skoda owner.

VRS TD purchased yesterday - 2009 with 7000 miles on clock.

Thought I'd say hello and get myself settled in the Forum before I take receipt of the car - vallet inside n out, cruise being fitted, rubber boot liner to be ordered and delivered

Simon is the name. Be gentle with me and forgive the silly questions - i AM a newbie to Skoda's, but I love the VRS and no doubt will be looking for some add on's in the not too distant future

Last year I had my 2013 Mk. 2 Fabia air conditioning (A/C) serviced by WeChillAnyCar - I had used them before on a different car. They extracted the gas, refilled it, (allegedly) tested that everything worked and I paid them for the work.. I didn't think to test it until a few weeks later when I discovered that it didn't work at all. After numerous 'phone calls and emails I accepted that they weren't going to admit that they hadn't actually tested it. I gave up and took the car to an authorised

First time starting a project thread, bear with me... Heard about this Roomster not too far from me that might be heading for a scrapyard, and decided to try to acquire it. That went well and it came to my place this last weekend. Early 2012, 1.2 TSI, 5sp manual, 158k miles on the clock. This is it, just after being washed. I bought a sportline flat bottom steering wheel but it was the heated version with the view button. I knew the airbag would have a bit of a gap but I didn’t like how it looked or felt overall. So I now have that for sale if anyone is interested. I am on the hunt for a round leather steering wheel. Version with phone button not view button, but with the DSG paddles. If anyone can point me in the direction of the correct part number or even if you have one for sale please let me know!
