Anyone from the SE area coming to the Castle Combe track day on Saturday 24th? Fancy convoying up?

Sat nav says it's about 2 hours 20 mins from Sevenoaks so me and Simon are meeting at Clacketts Lane services for 7 to leave at 7:15 and hopefully get to Combe between 9-9:30.

Anyone that fancies coming but hasn't heard about it yet, click the link on my signature, if you want to go on track it's £29 and there are a few spaces left, if you just want to be on the stand its a tenner each

I'm coming from the heathrow area so should be able to meet on the M4

il be heading up from the portsmouth area along the M4 towing my green skoda behind my big red landy goin slowly so il look out for all but wont convoy due to speed/fuel issues

We'll be aiming to leave promptly at 7 (or earlier if everyone is there) coz apparently it's going to be a struggle getting into the circuit after 9

Yes, unless my new one turns up this week, trying to keep the personal mileage down on the blue one as its going back imminently, don't want to get stung for a big bill. It'll be yellow anyhow.

I imagine thepelletwaggler (Des) will be joining up with you lot, only he's not in the Red Devil this time, but a different Skoda.

No worries I'll try and keep it out of the mud ditches, dirt tracks and verges, hopefully the ankle biter won't spread too much of his McD's all over it and I 'll leave the oily auto jumble bits out of the boot for now

Also note the entrance you lot need to use - It's not the first one when you come off the M4 - you go past the main paddock entrance and take the next left, and entrance is on the left - "Camp corner" one.

Picked up car today, looks like its had the volcanic treatment as its pretty grubby for a new car will clean for saturday. Looks like the stealer has gone off piste with the black leather option; green stitching, red pipping and coloured vRS logos,
